In order to produce a top notch kratom or mitragynine extract, the first and most important step in the process is the quality of the raw leaf powder. In Indonesia, the majority of the kratom leaf powder that makes it's way to international markets is collected randomly from wild plants. The quality and consistency of randomly picked wild leaf varies drastically. Furthermore, there can be serious issues of contamination, as an efficient way of collecting kratom leaf is to navigate rivers and streams and pick the leaves of kratom growing wild along the banks. These rivers and streams are often polluted with high levels of bacteria and other toxins. These pollutants then are found on the kratom leaves. These two obstacles of kratom leaf quality and cleanliness are the first major hurdles in the extraction process. If substandard leaf powder in terms of alkaloid levels is used in the extraction process, this very expensive process can produce a low quality extract. By simply ensuring that a clean, high alkaloid leaf powder is used in the first place, the extract produced from it will be much more potent, but with identical production costs.

Next, regarding contaminants, if a leaf powder is used in extraction process that contains contaminants, these contaminants will accrue in the resulting extract and the extract will fail test for safe levels. Then a secondary process will be required to remove contaminants in order to bring the extract to an acceptable safety standard. This process adds a great deal of expense to the final product as well.

Therefore, in our extraction method, we ensure that we use only high quality (alkaloid) leaf powder AND clean, safety tested natural leaf powder. By ensuring the base product going in is of the highest quality and cleanliness, we can ensure a high quality and safe finished product at the lowest production cost. We do this by acquiring the base leaf powder only from reputable dealers and by doing extensive testing and quality control of the Indonesian powder before it is exported for use in extract production. Many other extract manufacturers either are unwilling or unable to take these extra steps in the powder acquisition process and thus offer lower quality, more expensive extracts.

Wholesale Kratom Extract Consistency and Pricing

One of the biggest complaints in today's wholesale kratom extract market is that of consistency of quality matched with price.  Many extract suppliers will quote a price on a specific batch of mitragynine extract to a buyer. The wholesale kratom extract buyer will purchase and calculate the costs in their final product. However, later on, when time to purchase more, the extract supplier may quote the same price, but for a different quality level of mitragynine extract (lower alkaloids). Now the bulk extract buyer must recalculate costs and pricing to their customers, and on it goes with each new purchase. 

We consider this an unacceptable way of doing business with our valued customers. Therefore we have a first in the industry pricing standard of establishing a COST PER GRAM OF MITRAGYNINE structure for pricing and contracts with our buyers. Since inevitably, even when using identical method, each batch of kratom extract will vary by as much as 5% to 10% in alkaloid levels, specifically mitragynine levels. As an example, one batch may test at 60% mitragynine, and the next using the exact same method/process may only yield 55%. Therefore, to ensure consistency in pricing for our buyers (even though our costs are unchanged), we charge a per gram of mitragynine price. This way the buyer can rely upon a more fixed cost structure relative to the strength of extract they are getting.
